Opti-Coat Hyper Seal is a ceramic paint sealant that provides up to 12 months of protection. It is designed to protect and maintain ceramic-coated vehicles and extend the life of all types of ceramic coatings. It can also protect vehicles without a ceramic coating.

How is Opti-Coat Hyper Seal different from wax or sealant?

Opti-Coat Hyper Seal is an easy-to-apply ceramic sealant comparable to a sprayable ceramic coating. More durable than conventional wax or sealant, it can be used as standalone protection or applied over a ceramic coating for added protection and longer coating life.

Compatibility

Opti-Coat Hyper Seal works with all types and brands of ceramic coatings. It can also be used on vehicles without a ceramic coating. It protects paint, plastic trim, lights, wheels, and glass.

The formula was updated in 2024 to improve water beading and durability. Bottles shipped from headquarters since May 2024 contain the updated formula.

Directions

For maximum durability

1. Wash the vehicle with Opti-Coat No Rinse, Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine, or Optimum Touchless Decon Wash.
2. Dry with an Opti-Coat Ultimate Drying Towel, Optimum Pro Plush Towel, or Optimum Hyper Weave Drying Towel.
3. Apply Optimum Paint Prep according to its directions and allow it to dry.
4. Using a foam applicator, apply Opti-Coat Hyper Seal to paint, plastic, lights, and glass in a circular motion.
5. Allow the product to crosslink for at least 5 minutes but no longer than 15 minutes. Gently level any visible high spots with an Optimum Pearl Weave Microfiber Towel.

Routine application after washing

1. Wash and dry the vehicle with the products recommended above.
2. Spray Opti-Coat Hyper Seal onto the surfaces or directly onto a microfiber towel.
3. Spread the product with the towel and remove any excess.

As a drying aid

1. Wash the vehicle with one of the recommended products.
2. Apply one spray of Opti-Coat Hyper Seal to one wet panel at a time.
3. Dry each panel with a recommended drying towel while spreading the product.
