The Opti-Coat RV & Marine prepolymer cross-links to form a continuous protective film on painted and gelcoat surfaces. It provides permanent protection for modern factory paints and gelcoats and can also protect metal and hard plastic surfaces.

Care guide

Washing

For best results, wash the boat or RV with Opti-Coat No Rinse at least monthly to prevent excessive contamination buildup. Avoid washing in direct sunlight whenever possible. Heated panels can cause rapid drying, streaking, and water spots. If necessary, wash and dry one panel at a time. Begin with the cleanest upper panels and finish with the dirtiest areas to prevent cross-contamination.

Drying

Always dry the boat or RV completely and never allow it to air-dry. Tap water contains minerals that remain on the surface after evaporation and create water spots. Once hardened by heat, these deposits can be extremely difficult to remove.

Spot removal of surface contamination

Never use abrasive products to polish the coating or remove contamination. Avoid excessive rubbing or force. Remove tar and other contaminants promptly to prevent temporary staining or hardening on the surface. For assistance, contact an Opti-Coat RV & Marine dealer.
