Optimum Black Waffle Foam Pad is suitable for one-step polishing with an Optimum DA polisher. Designed to remove light-to-medium scratches and swirl marks in one or two passes, the pad uses a waffle structure that promotes efficient polishing.

The ventilated backing plate of the Optimum DA polisher helps keep the surface cooler during polishing and reduces risks associated with overheating.
Directions
To remove 3,000-grit or finer sanding marks, apply Optimum Hyper Compound to the Optimum Black Waffle Foam Pad. Make one or two passes using an Optimum DA polisher at speed 3–4 or a rotary polisher at 1,200–1,400 RPM. This combination removes scratches and leaves a finish free of marring and swirl marks.
To further refine the paint, follow with Optimum Hyper Polish and the Optimum Black Waffle Foam Pad before applying Optimum Car Wax, Opti-Seal, Hyper Seal, or a ceramic coating.
