Backing Plates for Optimum and Zentool Polishers

Optimum and Zentool 3-inch, 5-inch, and 6-inch backing plates are designed for 12mm, 15mm, 21mm, and 27mm corded or cordless dual-action polishers.

Their perforated design promotes airflow through foam or wool pads and the polisher. This ventilation helps keep the paint, pad, and machine cooler, which can improve performance, extend equipment life, and reduce the risk of damage from excessive heat.

• Optimum DAC21E cordless, 21mm: grey 5-inch or 6-inch plates
• Optimum DA27EM4 corded, 27mm: grey 5-inch or 6-inch plates
• Optimum DA21E3 corded, 21mm: grey 5-inch or 6-inch plates
• Zentool 21E2: grey 5-inch or 6-inch plates
• Zentool 21E: red 5-inch or 6-inch plates
• Zentool 15E2: grey 5-inch plate
• Zentool 12EM2: 3-inch plate

Order according to the required diameter and polisher model number.

As a general guideline, 21mm and 27mm machines use 6-inch backing plates, 15mm machines use 5-inch plates, and 12mm machines use 3-inch plates.
