Optimum Hyper Shine™ — DIY Ceramic Coating

Optimum Hyper Shine™ is a premium SiO₂ ceramic coating designed for do-it-yourself application. Its long working time allows it to cross-link for 5–15 minutes before wipe-off, making levelling easier and reducing the risk of high spots or streaks.

The formula helps fill and conceal light swirls and fine scratches. Polishing is optional, although it can improve the finish and maximize coating longevity.

The 15cc syringe covers up to 150 sq. ft., enough to protect a large passenger car, truck, or SUV.

Directions

1. Wash the vehicle with Optimum Touchless Decon Wash according to the bottle’s decontamination-wash instructions, then dry the vehicle.
2. Optional: for the best finish and longevity, polish the paint with Optimum Hyper Polish, an Optimum Waffle pad, and an Optimum dual-action polisher.
3. Thoroughly wipe the surfaces with Optimum Paint Prep and allow them to dry.
4. Prime the applicator pad with 50–60 drops. After the first panel, add 10–15 drops for each subsequent panel.
5. Apply to paint, plastic trim, lights, glass, and wheel faces using overlapping circular motions.
6. Allow 5–15 minutes for cross-linking, then lightly level any visible high spots with an Optimum Pearl Weave Microfiber Towel.
7. If the vehicle will be exposed to weather within 12 hours, wait 60 minutes after application, then protect it with Optimum Opti-Seal or Opti-Coat Hyper Seal. Wait 7 days before exposure to chemicals or abrasion.
