Optimum Opti-Lens — Ceramic Headlight Coating

Optimum Opti-Lens is a polymer system designed to protect headlight lenses. Its hybrid formula combines Opti-Coat 2.0 ceramic resin with an acrylic resin to create a strong bond on acrylic and polycarbonate lenses.

Its high concentration of UV absorbers helps reduce discolouration and fading caused by ultraviolet rays, preserving headlight clarity. Once applied, the coating forms a permanent bond that can only be removed by polishing or with paint remover.

Directions

1. Remove oxidation by sanding and polishing the headlights with Optimum Hyper Polish.
2. Thoroughly wipe each lens with a clean microfiber towel dampened with Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine or Hyper Foam to remove polishing residue.
3. Clean the entire lens with Optimum Paint Prep to prepare the surface.
4. Prime the applicator pad by drawing an X with the product. Only a few drops are needed for each lens.
5. Apply Optimum Opti-Lens using circular or back-and-forth motions.
6. Within 5 minutes of application, inspect the headlight under adequate lighting for high spots that have not flashed clear.
7. Remove excess coating with the foam applicator or an Optimum Multi-Surface Microfiber Towel.
