Optimum Orange Waffle Foam Pad is an excellent one-step polishing pad. Used with the Optimum dual-action polisher, it can remove 2,000-grit or finer wet-sanding marks, deep scratches, and swirl marks in only one or two passes. Its waffle surface and the ventilated backing plate of the Optimum polisher help keep the surface cool, reducing the risk of paint damage caused by overheating.

To remove 2,000-grit or finer sanding marks, spray Optimum Hyper Compound onto the Optimum Orange Waffle Foam Pad. Use the Optimum dual-action polisher at speed 3–4, or a rotary polisher at 600–1,000 RPM. In one or two passes, this combination removes rather than hides scratches and leaves only minor marring with no swirl marks.

Reduce pressure on the pad during the finishing stage to remove swirl marks. Follow with Optimum Hyper Polish and the Optimum Black Waffle Foam Pad to refine the paint before applying Optimum Car Wax, Opti-Seal, Hyper Seal, or a ceramic coating.
